I love you honey
Actually, it's not honey. It's beeswax. I buy my beeswax from this older Hispanic gentleman who is in his 80's. He sells honey, but I always ask him if he has any beeswax. The first time I asked, he produced about 4 lbs of dirty beeswax that was buried in an old cardboard box, in the front of his truck bed. I asked "How much?" and he replied, "No charge."
I went back to my car and got $20 and gave it to him. I continued to visit him for beeswax, paying $10 per pound. Seems kind of expensive, but this stuff smells just like honey, so I know it's real, and not fake Chinese petroleum wax mixed with other things.
So tonight, I finally melted a block (one of the clean ones), using a simple double boiler setup. Then I poured it into some silicone molds. It dried perfectly and smelled just like honey. This stuff is real for sure.
Anyway, I've attached some images of the short process. You can see for yourself. It dried in less than an hour, and I saved the little fragments and put them back in the melting pot. I can't wait to use this REAL wax for my leather projects, and to run my polyester thread through the real wax.

I will be selling this in my Etsy shop, probably in a couple of days; maybe today when I wake up. It's already 2:30 am and I was watching YouTube and doing the wax melt thing, and having a bit of wine as well. So I gotta hit the bed. Look for it in my shop if you're interested.
