Wallets for my grandkids

I made a wallet for my son-in-law. The pattern was from Justin of Make Supply Leather, one of his free ones. Justin is quite successful from what I can see, he owns multiple laser cutting machines, sells patterns and acrylic templates, and more.

So now I've made 3 wallets, one for the son-in-law, one for his youngest son, and one for the middle child. I now have one more to make for the oldest grandson.

This last wallet I'm waiting to see if the oldest likes my new logo, I should know by tomorrow, and then I can complete it in half a day. This last wallet, I succumbed and bought Justin's laser ready SVG for $5, so I could make it quickly. The only disadvantage is the soot from the laser, you have to clean the leather afterwards. I did put masking tape, it helped a bit, better than making the leather wet, as it will curl afterwards.

So here are some images from the last two builds. I hope you like them. The first image is a swatch I made from water based dyes, and let my grandson pick the colors he liked. He went for the briar brown, blue, and natural veg tanned. The youngest grandson's wallet was edited for privacy.
